Francesco Maiolo was born in Nardo Pace (VV) on 22.12.1940, where he lived until 1957, he began to paint as a self-taught artist very young.
He exhibited the first time in 1966 at the gallery of Robert Philip in Paris, then at the gallery Viotti of Turino.

He made numerous solo exhibitions in Italy and abroad. He participated in major art fairs in Bologna, Firenze, Paduva and Geneva.

He is represented in numerous private collections in Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Australia, USA, Japan and Canada.
